"The community assessment and resource or CARE Center opened in June 2021. Located inside a renovated portion of the Impossible Dream Thrift Store, the CARE Center is a collaborative project bringing together several local, non-profit agencies with parallel goals to serve under resourced individuals. It serves as a hub for assistance with housing and other sources based on community needs."

"Offered with support from the Volunteer Transportation Center, Getting Ahead is a 16-week workshop series that encourages individuals to investigate poverty in their own lives and in their community. The Getting Ahead material provides "investigators" with the tools and strategies for building resources and working toward a better quality of life. The local Getting Ahead graduate network is actively engaged in community level work. "

Sentenced to Bridge through the court system, participants are provided with encouragement and intensive supportive services, to include case management, coordination of treatment options, advocacy, and participation in peer groups and volunteer activities. By addressing the underlying substance use disorder behind criminal activity, the Bridge Program not only ensures a more positive result for the individual but avoids the cost of incarceration. "
