"Housing and Energy Services administers the Weatherization Assistance Program – a program that helps low-income households lower their utility bills by making homes more energy efficient. As funds are available, Housing and Energy Services operates other programs for the home, such as RESTORE and EMPOWER."

"Community Action Planning Council contracts with Indian River, to operate Universal Pre-K. There are no income guidelines. Parents may contact the school district office to apply, provided they live within the district."
